小健是一名严正的公安，对惠关怀备至，但惠害怕被嫌弃，选择隐瞒这件事。然而，惠的养父麦看出了她的痛苦，并以强奸时拍下的裸照来威胁她，迫使她再次屈从。惠明白这不是解决问题的办法，于是拿起刀子迫使麦交出底片，可惜未能成功，反而被麦再次强奸。小健赶到现场，见状后愤怒开枪打伤了麦，然后被击晕。为了保护小健的安全，愤怒的惠拿起枪杀死了麦，并将母亲和其他弟妹一个个杀掉。小健醒来后意识到一切已无法挽救，默默将所有指纹抹去。

随后，惠去公安局自首，接待她的警察（黄秋生饰）虽然知道惠是真凶，但面对可怜的惠，开始对是否应该对这个女人判定杀人罪产生了疑问。
