怀才不遇的摇滚乐手莫子（莫子仪饰）与事业蒸蒸日上的歌手女友日渐隔膜，留下最后一首歌跑去天台跳楼；纸扎师傅林老伯（高捷饰）得了末期癌症，没钱开刀治疗，便一心给自己扎了个穷奢极侈的“豪宅”，念着死后和妻子可以在阴间享福，林太太（陆奕静饰）却跑去借高利贷给老公治病，他们的儿子小刚（唐振刚饰）卖掉自己在网游里面一块地，竟然赚到八万eee。莫子死了，他的女朋友倒是红了，成了著名民谣歌手；林老伯的“豪宅”终于扎好，却被前来要债的黑社会看上，直接拿去抵了债；“憨过头”的小刚去学做房产经纪，却碰到莫子留下的“阴宅”，事关房子的种种让几个不相干的人生产生奇妙联系，这个总是令人慢半拍的世界，守住自己的一席之地都变得那么困难…
